Strand, Elan Pharma in research collaboration

BANGALORE: Strand Life Sciences has entered into a research collaboration with Elan Pharmaceuticals to support the latter's drug discovery efforts. The collaboration enables Elan to access Strand's technologies and achieve customised solutions for internal research programmes, according to a statement from Strand Life Sciences. The agreement incorporates access to Strand's extensive silico technology porfolio, including predictive modelling for efficacy and ADMET, custom library design, QSAR and pharmacophore modelling, structure based drug design, data and visual mining and consulting experience, it said.
