Minister opens meet on `Kerala Tomorrow'

Staff Reporter

THRISSUR: Labour Minister Babu Divakaran inaugurated a two-day seminar on `Kerala Tomorrow' organised here on Friday by the Department of Management Science of the MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, as a follow up of the ten-point agenda for the development of the State mooted by President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam during his visit to the State recently.

Speaking on the occasion the Minister said the `Kerala Vision-2005' being proposed by the State Government aims at effectively making use of the State's vast human resources, which have been draining out to other States and foreign countries because of the acute shortage of job opportunities in the country.

Chairman and Managing Director of the FACT Gopala Pilla, Satish Babu of the Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, T. Damu of the Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palace and K. Muralidharan of the Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala addressed the various sessions of the seminar.
