Both talk about regional "developments"

NEW DELHI:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh received a telephone call from U.S. President George W. Bush late on Friday afternoon, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral issues.
A release from the Prime Minister's Office said the two leaders reviewed the implementation of the July 18 India-U.S. joint statement and other bilateral issues.
They also touched on "developments" in the region.
Mr. Bush's call comes days after his September 13 meeting with Dr. Singh on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings in New York.
During that meeting, Mr. Bush conveyed to the Prime Minister that he remained fully committed to the implementation of the civilian nuclear agreement as mentioned in the joint statement issued by both sides in Washington.
