Science exhibition at DAV School

The regional level CBSE Intel Science exhibition was held at DAV Public School, Neredmet, on Friday. The event had participants from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa and parts of Andhra Pradesh. A total of 31 schools participated. The Controller of Examinations, CBSE, Pavnesh Kumar, was chief guest for the inaugural function. - Staff Reporter

Vanya Prani Saptah at Zoo Park

The 51st Vanya Prani Saptah 2005 will be celebrated at the Nehru Zoological Park from October 1 to 7. During the celebrations, children below 12 years of age will be allowed free entrance. However, the zoo will remain closed on October 3, according to a press release. - Staff Reporter

IGNOU registration

Students pursuing programmes of Indira Gandhi National Open University lasting for more than one semester/year should register again indicating their choice of courses for the subsequent semester/year. Such forms with details of course option should be sent to the IGNOU regional centre, Himayatnagar, on or before October 3. Forms received thereafter will be charged late fee of Rs. 200. - Staff Reporter
