COIMBATORE: Individuals and families that visited the five-day Finance and Consumer Exhibition 2005 (FACE-2005) at the Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre on Avanashi Road were able to choose from a wide range of financial services and investment opportunities.

Colour Code Advertising Events and Trade Fairs (CBE) Pvt. Ltd., organisers of `Concrete Concept 2005' exhibition in July, organised FACE-2005, their second event this year.

Banks and financial institutions handed out brochures and leaflets containing the gist of their customer-friendly schemes and investment proposals. Representatives were ready to explain the schemes in detail and helped customers fill out application forms to take advantage of special schemes. Stalls in the finance section of the exhibition offered insurance, home loans, vehicle loans, educational loans, mutual funds, and stocks and shares.

In addition, there were dozens of stalls showcasing consumer goods from reputed manufacturers.

On display were electronic products, electrical goods, home appliances, computers, personal care products, office automation appliances, furniture, furnishing fabrics, food products, cookware, modular kitchen items, security systems, ready-to-wear clothes, water purifiers, water storage tanks, solar-operated products, knitwear, automobiles, crockery, cutlery, gifts and accessories.
