ROHTAK: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday described the massive mandate given by the people to the Congress candidate and his son Deepender Singh Hooda in the Rohtak Lok Sabha by-election as "the victory of all sections of society and that of the farmers and hard-working people of the State". Speaking at a thanksgiving gathering here, he said that as the people had given their blessings to Deepinder, it would be his endeavour to make Haryana a No. One State in the field of development. "They had given a befitting reply to those who were trying to harm the democratic set-up. Also this election had exposed those who were hatching conspiracies and indulging in political gimmicks by misleading the people. This, in fact, was the victory of truth in the Dharam Yudh," he added. Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda also thanked the people for their massive support.
