NEW DELHI: The Mahindra & Mahindra group has hinted at acquisition of couple of companies in India and abroad in the auto component and engineering services sector as it braces up to turn Mahindra Systems & Automotive Technologies into a billion dollar company by 2010. "We are much closer to acquiring companies in the engineering services sector. Maybe in four weeks time we are in final round of talks. We are looking at companies both in Germany and Detroit, we are also in talks with companies here," President MSAT, Hemant Luthra, said while talking to newsmen where group Chairman, Keshub Mahindra, went public on Saturday with their commitment to spend one per cent of profit after tax for a range of corporate social responsibilities on a continuing basis.
