BSNL to improve services

WLL phones to be made available in 45 places in the district


  • Demand for new connections will lead to congestion
  • New cell towers will be commissioned shortly
  • Plans afoot to expand broadband service
  • PCOs to be upgraded into information centres

    KHAMMAM: The BSNL is working on strengthening of both its cellular and WLL services in the district, according to C.S.N. Murthy, General Manager, here on Saturday. Addressing a news conference along with D.M. Bhaskar, DGM (Planning and administration) and Subba Rao, DGM, he said WLL phones would be made available as many as 45 places in the district.

    The MSC-based WLL services were commissioned in the day at Kunavaram. It was introduced in Manuguru and Yellandu only this week. The towns of Palvancha, Nelakondapalli, Enkoor, Wyra and Venkatapuram also would have the MSC-based WLL commissioned shortly.
