THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Globestar Telecom CC crushed Ernakulam CC by 233 runs in the 55th all-India Pooja cricket tournament at the KRL Oval here on Saturday. In another match played at the Palace Oval, Mattancherry Youngsters CC defeated Tripunithura cricket Club by three wickets. The scores: Globestar Telecom CC 300 for eight in 45 overs (Krishna Chandran 138, Arun Paulose 96, Bipin three for 41) bt Ernakulam CC 67 in 17 overs (Krishna Chandran five for 22, A.Xavier three for 37) Tripunithura CC `B' 284 for eight in 45 overs (Madhu Nampoodiri 94, K.S.Santhosh 45, Varghese 44, Narayanan five for 46) lost to MYCA 285 for seven in 43 overs (Harikumar 137, Nikhil 38, Rajesh 30).
