NEW DELHI: With six new cases being reported on Friday, the total number of dengue cases in the Capital has reached 223. All the new cases were reported from Delhi and none of them came from the neighbouring States. Of all the cases reported thus far, 158 are from Delhi, while 65 are from the neighbouring States. In Delhi, 158 cases have been reported from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi areas while seven have come from the New Delhi Municipal Council areas. Of the other States, there have been 20 cases from Haryana, 24 from Uttar Pradesh, and 18 from elsewhere. In the case of three cases, the patients were untraced after investigation. A release issued by the Health Department of MCD said as of Saturday, Friday, 32 patients were still admitted with dengue in various hospitals.
