Gandhi medal for 3 police personnel

CHENNAI: Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Saturday said three police personnel were chosen for the State Government's Mahatma Gandhi Medal for meritorious service in the eradication of illicit arrack.

The medal would be presented by the Chief Minister on the Republic Day to N.Palanichamy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, organised crime control unit, Coimbatore, M.Chandrasekaran, Inspector, Salem City, M.Muthukumar, sub-inspector, Andipatti police station.
