The programme, being implemented under the Akshaya project, is to be launched in seven districts soon, Akshaya authorities said. To begin with, more than 5,000 e-literacy instructors from seven districts would be trained. The training programme would start on October 5. This phase will commence in November. The selected districts are Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kollam and Pathanamthitta. The faculty for the training programme comprises experts from the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology, IT@School and the Centre for Development Studies.
