BANGALORE: South Western Railway will run the following special trains to clear holiday rush. Bangalore City-Ernakulam-Bangalore City Tri-Weekly Special (0637/0638): Bangalore City-Ernakulam Tri-Weekly Special (0637) will leave Bangalore city on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 5.15 p.m. and reach Ernakulam at 4.30 a.m. the next day. The first service from Bangalore city commences on Sunday and the last service will be on November 29. Ernakulam-Bangalore City Tri-Weekly Special (0638) will leave Ernakulam at 5 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and reach Bangalore city at 4.15 a.m. the next day. The first service from Ernakulam will commence on Monday and the last service will be on November 30. The train will run from Bangalore city via Bangalore Cantonment, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Tirupathur, Salem, Erode, Podanur, Palghat, Ottapalam, Trichur and Alwaye. The train will have one three-tier AC coach, nine three-tier second-class sleeper coaches, two general second-class coaches and two second-class-cum-luggage vans. Bangalore city-Madurai-Nagercoil Tri-Weekly Special (0647) will leave Bangalore city at 5.45 p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and reach Madurai at 4.35 a.m. and leave at 4.40 a.m. to reach Nagercoil at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The first service from Bangalore city will commence on Monday and the last service will be on November 30. In the return direction, Nagercoil-Madurai-Bangalore City Special (0648) will leave Nagercoil at 3.30 p.m. on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and reach Madurai at 8.20 p.m. and leave at 8.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore city the next day at 9 a.m. The first service from Nagercoil will commence on Tuesday and the last service will be on December 1. The train will run from Bangalore city via Bangalore Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Kodaikkanal Road, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sathur, Kovilpatti, Vanchimaniachhi and Tirunelveli. The train will have one three-tier AC coach, nine three-tier second-class sleeper coaches, two general second-class coaches and two second-class-cum-luggage vans. Bangalore City-Chennai Weekly Special (0684) will leave Bangalore city on every Friday at 9.30 p.m. and reach Chennai at 3.55 a.m. the next day. The first service from Bangalore city will commence on October 7 and the last service will be on November 25. In the return direction, Chennai-Bangalore City Special (0683) will leave Chennai at 9.30 p.m. on every Sunday and reach Bangalore city at 5.15 a.m. the next day. The first service from Chennai will commence on October 9 and the last service will be on November 27. The train will have two two-tier AC coaches, one three-tier AC coach, 12 three-tier second-class sleeper coaches, three general second-class coaches and two second-class-cum-luggage vans. The train will run from Bangalore city via Bangalore Cantonment, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Jolarpettai, Ambur, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
