Postgraduate diploma in mental health

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's H.B. College of Communication and Management has started a postgraduate diploma course in mental health as well as M.S/MA in mental health. Art workshop for children

Felicitation to Sanskrit scholar

The Tattvajnana Parishat will felicitate scholar Vysanakere Prabhanjanacharya, who has been conferred the Independence Day President's Award for his services to Sanskrit, on October 9 at the Gayana Samaja at 5.30 pm. Honour

The Madhya Pradesh Hindi Prachar Samithi has conferred the Vishishta Hindi Sevi Sanman on V. Venkatesh, president, Shiksha Samithi of Mysore Hindi Prachara Parishad. He is a retired principal of MES College, Malleswaram.

Wild wonders

Wild Wonders, an exhibition of the works of wildlife photographer H.V. Praveen Kumar will be organised at Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishat from October 8 to 12. The theme will be conservation of wildlife.

Elected

The Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare has elected Nina P. Nayak as its president and Meera P.R. Nayak and Meenakshi Sivramakrishnan as vice-presidents. Sudha Raghunandan is general secretary, T. Meenakshi, Treasure and Vatsala Srinivasan, joint secretaries.
