Entries for Young World painting contest

CHENNAI:
The Hindu Young World Painting Competition 2005 will be held in Chennai on November 27.
Students who wish to participate should send a painting done on a white drawing sheet of size 26cm x 27cm to The Hindu , Kasturi Buildings, 859-860, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002 by October 20.
The entries must be certified by the principal or the art teacher of the school, and must include the name, age, class, school and residential address of the student.
The entries will be judged at two levels — juniors (class IV - VII) and seniors (Class VIII - X). Selected students will be intimated individually.
The topics for juniors are: Sports Day at your school; At the children's carnival; A puppet show; At the library.
The topics for seniors are: The December 26 tsunami; Scene at the harbour; A car rally; Fancy dress show on Independence Day.
