Karur Vysya Bank raises rates

CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank has raised the FCNR dollar rates. The bank has also announced the interest rates for a period above three years and up to a maximum maturity of five years. The bank offers 4.29 per cent for dollars for 1-2 years against 4.01 per cent, 4.35 per cent for 2-3 years against 4.04 per cent, 4.38 per cent for 3-4 years against 4.05 per cent and 4.41 per cent for 4-5 year period against 4.08 per cent. For five years, the bank offers a rate of 4.42 per cent against 4.11 per cent. The bank has also raised the interest rates on pound sterling and Euro.
