KOCHI: Campions School (Edapally) and Bhavan's Vidya Mandir `A' (Elamakkara) posted contrasting first rounds wins in the 15th P.L.Lawrence memorial inter-school basketball tournament at the Fort Kochi YMCA on Thursday evening. Campion pipped local side Santa Cruz 32-31while Elamakkara Bhavan's crushed St Joseph's (Thrikakkara) 55-29 in the boys section. The results:Boys: Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala bt BVM `B', Elamakkara 39-25 ; BVM `A', Elamakkara bt St Joseph's Thrikakkara 55-29; Campion, Edapally bt Santa Cruz , Fort 32-31; Nava Nirman, Vazhakkala bt St Aloysius, Palluruthy 33-27. SDPY, Palluruthy bt Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ekm 52-35. Girls: BVM `B', Elamakkara bt Toc-H, Vytilla 17-9; Delta Study, Fort Kochi bt Nava Nirman, Vazhakkala 17-12.
