Lokayukta names 60 legislators

Statement of assets and liabilities for 2004-05 not filed

BANGALORE: The former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is among the 60 legislators who have not filed their statement of assets and liabilities for 2004-05 before the Lokayukta. The list also includes the Minister Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli, the Working President of the State Janata Dal (Secular), H.D. Kumaraswamy, and the Kannada Chaluvali leader Vatal Nagaraj (Chamarajanagar).

The others who figure in the notification issued by the Lokayukta, N. Venkatachala, under Section 22 of the Karnataka Lokyukta Act are Prakash Khandre (Aurad), Bandeppa Kashampur (Bidar), Mallikarjuna Siddaramappa Khuba (Basavakalyan), Chandrashekar Patil Revoor (Gulbarga), M.Y. Metgud (Bailhongal), Desai Shivaputrappa Madiwalappa (Hoovinahippargi), Shivanand Patil (Basavanabage- wadi), R.K. Rathod (Balloli), Patil Ravikanth Shankarappa (Indi), Nirani Muragesh Rudrappa (Bilgi), Mahagundappa Kallappa Pattanshetty (Badami), Meti Hullappa Yarmappa (Guledgud), Ivan Nigli (nominated) and Sharanaprakash R. Patil (Sedam), all MLAs.

The MLCs are Nasir Ahmed, S.N. Ananda, M.D. Ramesh Raju, S. Ravi, H.R. Srinath, Nyamagowda Sidde Bheemappa, Mallajamma, Kattimani Ashok, Pra- kash K. Rathod, H.S. Shivashankar, Mattikatti Veeranna and Basavaraj Havagiyappa Patil.
