HASSAN: Four persons were killed and one injured seriously, when the van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry here on Thursday morning. Three died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries at the government hospital. One person, who was injured, was shifted to Bangalore and is said to be out of danger. Superintendent of Police Panduranga H. Rane said the accident occurred at around 2.30 a.m. on the outskirts of Hassan. The four deceased were from Bangalore and were going to Dharmasthala, he said. He gave the names of the victims as Girish (21), Rajesh (23), Rajashekar (21), and Sunil (21). The name of the injured was given as Prakash (26).
