ALAPPUZHA: One person was injured when miscreants stoned a bus of the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation going from Ernakulam to Tuticorn on NH 47 at Ambalappuzha railway overbridge on Wednesday midnight. The glass panes of the bus were damaged in stone-throwing. The injured, identified as Sankar, a native of Sivanthipetti in Thirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu, was given first aid and later discharged from the hospital. The Ambalappuzha police said they had not received any evidence to connect the People's Democratic Party with the incident.
