Vaccination camp

Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) has organised a special vaccination camp for pets at the Government Veterinary Hospital on Hosur Road, Madiwala, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on October 9. The cost of each pet licence is Rs. 10 plus Rs. 50 (application plus pet license and badge fee) apart from the cost of the anti-rabies vaccine. Physiotherapy camp

The Goutham Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation centre has organised a free health camp for orthopaedic, neurological, post-traumatic stiffness, neck pain, low back pain, joints pain, muscular pain and rehabilitation of patients requiring physiotherapy, on October 8 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Government Health Scheme patients can also avail themselves of the services. The camp will be held on the centre's premises on Dr. M.C. Modi Eye Hospital Road, West of Chord Road, Rajajinagar. Those interested could call 22928405 or 23494529.

Acupressure course

Free training

Unnati has organised free training in tailoring (for garment industry) for boys and girls aged between 18 and 24 years and hailing from economically backward sections of society. The curriculum includes coaching in spoken English, computer training, personality development and value-based education.

Eye check-up

Brothers killed

Two brothers, who were on their way to Salem in Tamil Nadu, were killed when a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus hit their motorcycle near Kempe Gowda bus station on Wednesday. According to the police, Dhanraj (23) and Gnanchand (28) were returning to Salem after meeting their sister at Cottonpet here.
