Ravi Shankar Prasad admitted to AIIMS

NEW DELHI:
: Bharatiya Janata Party MP and former Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who suffered bullet injuries on his arm when an assailant fired at him at an election rally, was admitted to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Friday.
Mr. Prasad, accompanied by his relatives and friends, was airlifted from Patna for treatment of multiple fracture.
The incident took place at Nokha in Rohtas district of Bihar on Thursday. Mr. Prasad was administered first aid at Sasaram, 25 km from Nokha, and later admitted to a nursing home in Patna. His condition is said to be stable.
