Talk on the Gita

Prasanna Trust is organising a three-day Gita Gnana Yagna Talks on the `Essence of Bhagwad Gita' by Swami Sukhabodhananda, spiritual guru to millions, from October 14 to 16 at Keyes Girls High School, Secunderabad, from 6 pm to 8.30 pm. Food festival

The Buddha Poornima Project Authority (BPPA) of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority is organising a cultural programme and food festival at Lumbini Laserium from October 9 to 12. The food festival schedule starts with Rajasthani cuisine on October 9 and includes Maharashtrian, Punjabi and Gujarati on days, according to a press release. A Rangoli competition for women will be organised on October 10 followed by musical chair competition, ice cream eating and tambola game. The laser show in Lumbini Park starts at 6 p.m. from October 9 to 12 along with cultural programmes and the second laser show at 8.30 p.m. - Staff Reporter
