Disruption in water supply

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water supply to General Hospital, Pettah, Vanchiyoor, Anayara, Chacka, Shanghumughom, All Saints College, Veli and the VSSC will be completely disrupted from 8 p.m. on October 9 till 8 a.m. on October 10. According to the Executive Engineer, PH division of the Kerala Water Authority, supply in the 400 mm pipeline servicing these areas will be shut down to facilitate repair work on a leak on the line near the Pettah market area. The leak in this line coming from the reservoir at the Observatory hill was discovered during recent repair work on drainage lines at Pettah.— Staff Reporter

Yoga classes

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre for Studies in Yoga and Meditation will conduct free classes in yoga, pranayama and meditation of three months duration. Classes will be held at the Santhi Yoga Satsangam, Killipalam. There will be separate classes for men and women.
