Twentyone teams of doctors had been working round-the-clock in the Uri and Tangdhar sectors since Sunday and 15 ambulances deployed in the area, he said. This was in addition to the medical assistance being provided by the armed forces.

There is acute water shortage, as there are only six water tankers in the area.

Mild aftershocks were experienced across the State on Sunday night but officials said there was no need to panic as they were less intense and less frequent.
