Appointed officers

N. Krishnamurthy and S. Chandrasekaran (Assistant Registrar of Companies of Coimbatore Office) have been appointed as Central Public Information Officers of the Office of the Registrar of Companies, Coimbatore, under the Right to Information Act 2005, according to a release.

Seminar

Coimbatore District Small Industries Association will organise a seminar on business opportunities with Germany on October 13 at the CODISSIA conference hall.

Andreaus Hauck and George Kramp, representing a leading business firm in Germany, will address the participants.

Exhibition

IOLITE will organise an exhibition of jewellery at Plumeria, Race Course, on October 13.

Meeting

Indian Red Cross Society will organise the second meeting of district secretaries on October 14 and 15. Collector, S. Kosalaraman, will inaugurate the meeting.

Procession

A portrait of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba was taken in a procession here recently.

The procession started at Naga Sai Mandir on Mettupalayam Road and moved along Dewan Bahadur Road, Ponniarajapuram, Selvapuram and Perur, to Theethipalayam.
