King Cobra, Dama Grande catch the eye

Hyderabad: King Cobra, Dama Grande and Here Comes The Sun pleased when the horses were exercised here on Thursday (Oct. 13).

Outer grass:

600m: Royal Bond (rb), Turf Raider (Rawal) 44.5, 400/29. They were easy and level. First Mover (Ravinder), Comoros (Nishanth) 45.5. They were easy and level.

800m: Speed Motive (rb), Master Prospect (Rawal) 55, 600/40, 400/26. They were well in hand. Diesel (Madhu Kumar) 53, 600/39.5, 400/27.5. Moved freely. Star World (Ravinder), Hollywood Star (Nishanth) 1-0, 600/44, 400/28. Both were level. Light Cannon (Shinde) 55.5, 600/39, 400/26. Moved on the bit. Benazir (Farookh) 56.5, 600/41, 400/26. Moved well.

They jumped out well and were separated by half a length, three lengths and a length. Romanesque (M. Krishna), Sparkling Colours (Ali Khan) 1-9, (1000/400) 39.5. Latter was slowly off.

Fines:

In the third race for the Bangalore Turf Club Trophy (1,400m) held on Monday, Oct.10, jockey B.V. Krishnan (Onnu Onnu Onnu) was fined Rs. 2000 for allowing his mount to shift in during the final stages of the race causing severe interference to Special Force (Deep Shankar).

In the fourth race for the A.P. Heritage Cup (2,400m), jockey A. Imran Khan (Carradale) was fined Rs.1000 for shifting in at about 150 metres and in the process causing interference to Bribe N Prejudice (Aadesh).
