Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K. Keshava Rao has taken exception to the remarks of Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah that the Government will not take back or alter its order increasing the discharge capacity of the Pothireddipadu head regulator.

Talking to the media on Friday, Dr. Keshava Rao said there was no need for the Minister to rush to the press with such statements when Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy himself was open for discussion on the issue.

The PCC chief said he would take up the matter with the Minister.
