English courses

The English Language Teaching Centre at Nizam College will organise courses for housewives/beginners with a special emphasis on pronunciation and communication skills.

Fifty sessions of two hours each will start on October 17. The classes will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. while the fee, covering reading material, will be Rs. 600. Details are available from the director over phone number 23234231, according to a release. - Staff Reporter

Mock EdCET

Keeping in view the EdCET being conducted on October 30, the Hyderabad city chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India is organising a mock EdCET on October 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The venues will be Zikra Public School, Somajiguda and Anwar Ul Uloom Junior College, Shah Ali Banda, Charminar.
