UDUPI: A six-year-old girl was killed when a lorry ran over her at Balaipady Junction here on Saturday. The Udupi town police said Gayatri, daughter of Lakshminarayana Acharya and Rajeshwari, got down from a bus at the Balaipady Junction when the lorry, which was on its way from Mangalore to Udupi, knocked her down. She died on the spot. Lakshminarayana Acharya and Rajeshwari are residents of Badagabettu.
