THRISSUR: Percussionist Kachamkurichi Kannan Marar, 50, of Kurupathu Marathu House, Kuttanellur, died when the bike he was riding collided with a lorry at Thalore, near here, on Sunday. According to the Puthukkad police, the accident took place around 11 a.m. The pillion rider, Muraleedharan of Ollur, has been admitted with injuries to a private hospital here.
