The columns show maximum and minimum temperature in Celsius, rainfall during last 24 hours (tr-trace) and total rainfall in mm since October 1, 2005. Rain likely in Tamil Nadu CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at many places over Rayalaseema, Telangana, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Kerala. On Sunday, the maximum temperature rose markedly at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose appreciably at a few places over rest Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka, rose at one or two places over North Interior Karnataka, Telangana, North interior Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over Rayalaseema, North Coastal Tamil Nadu and changed a little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over Coastal Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka, appreciably below normal at a few places over Telangana, at one or two places over Rayalaseema below normal at one or two places over rest Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Palayamkottai recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35{+o} Celsius in the region. Belgaum Airport and Chitradurga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 20{+o} Celsius in the plains of the region. Forecast (valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Telangana, at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala.
