NAGERCOIL: Activists of various women forum observed a fast in front of the Collectorate here on Monday urging the Government to ensure food and shelter to all in view of International Poverty and Anti-violence Day. They also staged a novel protest there by holding plates in their hands seeking abolition of poverty from the society. Mary, president, Federation of Women Forum, led the demonstration.
