LUCKNOW: R. Ramani, principal secretary, Urban Development was on Monday appointed the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Ramani had been holding additional charge after the then Chief Secretary Neera Yadav was shifted as chairperson of the State Revenue Board in the wake of a Supreme Court directive on October 6.--PTI
