HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway will run special trains between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, and other important cities and towns within and outside the State in view of impending RTC strike from Tuesday. Special trains will be run between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam, Kacheguda and Bangalore, Secunderabad and Kurnool town, Secunderabad and Warangal and other short distance services, including special MMTS services in twin cities. Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special (No.748 S) will leave city at 9 p.m. on October 18, 22 and 24 and reach Visakhapatnam at 11.05 a.m the next day. In return direction, Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad train No.747 S will leave Visakhapatnam at 7.30 p.m. at 7.30 p.m. on October 19, 23 and 25 and reach city at 9.40 a.m. the next day. The special trains will ply via Secunderabad, Kazipet, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni and Anakapalle. Tirupati-Visakhapatnam (No.711 S) will leave Tirupati at 6.40 p.m. on October 18, 20, 22 and 24 and reach Visakhapatnam at 9.15 a.m. the next day. In return direction the special train (No.712) will leave Visakhapatnam at 10 a.m. on October 19, 21, 23 and 25 and reach Tirupati at 4.05 a.m. next day. Kacheguda-Bangalore-Kacheguda (Train No.789 S) will leave Kacheguda at 8.40 p.m. on October 18 and reach Bangalore at 10.30 a.m. next day. In return direction, the train (790 S) will leave Bangalore at 6 p.m. on October 19 and reach Kacheguda at 6.50 a.m. next day. Secunderabad-Kurnool-Secunderabad (No.SK) special will leave Secunderabad at 3 p.m. and reach Kurnool at 7.30 p.m. In return direction, the train (No.KS) will leave Kurnool at 5.15 a.m. and arrive Secunderabad at 10.20 a.m. Secunderabad-Warangal-Secunderabad (No.SW1) will leave Secunderabad at 10.30 a.m. and reach Warangal at 2.15 p.m. In return direction, train No.WS 1 will leave Warangal at 6.15 p.m. and arrive at Secunderabad at 8.40 p.m.
Short distance services
As man as 41 passenger special trains for short distance services will be run between Dhone-Guntakal, Dhone-Nandyal, Renigunta-Cuddapah, Tirupati-Gudur, Ongole-Chirala, Gudur-Kavali, Gudur-Ongole from Vijayawada to Tadepalligudem, Guntur, Chirala, Machilipatnam, Eluru, Samalkot, Bhimavaram-Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry-Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry-Vijayawada, Samalkot-Rajahmundry, Secunderabad-Nizamabad, Nizamabad-Kamareddy.
Train Nos. 2714/2713 Secunderabad-Vijayawada-Secunderabad Satavahana Express will run up to Vikarabad and back.
Tirupati-Nagarsol train
Special Correspondent writes: In a bid to clear extra rush, the SCR will run six pairs of additional special trains between Tirupati-Nagarsol-Tirupati from October 20 to November 7. Train no.715 S will leave Tirupati at 5.55 a.m. on October 20, 23, 27, 30, November 3 and 6 and arrive at Nagarsol at 6.50 a.m. next day. In return direction, train no.716 S will depart Nagarsol at 7.30 p.m. on October 21, 24, 28, 31, November 4 and 7 and arrive at Tiruapti at 11 p.m. the next day.
