KURNOOL: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former MP Bhuma Nagireddy plans to take up `padayatra' from Chagalamarri at the southern tip of Kurnool district to Pothireddypadu Head Regulator demanding implementation of GO 170 without dilution. Talking to reporters at Nandyal on Monday, he said the Government appeared to have softened its stand on widening of the Srisailam Right Main canal following pressure from political parties. But the stand would jeopardise the interests of Rayalaseema people. He accused all political parties of creating hurdles for the GO and criticised APCC president K. Kesava Rao for reportedly speaking against the GO. He called upon all political parties to join him to mount pressure on the Government.
