A strong body and calm mind are essential to execute things flawlessly. Yoga is the best exercise to keep the body strong and active and the mind calm. Realising this, yoga training was imparted to NSS volunteers of Our Lady Girls' Higher Secondary School at a camp held in M. Chettiyapatti village recently. Besides yoga therapy, experts taught the students meditation to improve their concentration, which was essential for achieving excellence in education. The young volunteers formed soaking pits, planted trees and created rainwater harvesting structures in the village. The NSS project officer, Suryakumari, made the arrangements.
