Liberty Shoes clocks 19 p.c. growth in Q2 turnover

CHENNAI: Liberty Shoes has recorded a 19 per cent rise in turnover at Rs. 50.90 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2005, against Rs. 42.68 crore in the year-ago period. The net profit has risen sharply to Rs. 4.46 crore from Rs. 11.20 lakh. The company has made a foray into organised retailing through its subsidiary.
