FEDAI directive to banks

NEW DELHI: L. B. Singhal, Director General of the Export Promotion Council for EoUs and SEZ units (EPCES) said the Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (FEDAI) has issued instructions to all the banks that the recovery of bank charges should be based on the actuals and this should not be treated as a source of income. The directive is on the lines of a suggestion made by the council at an Open House in Kolkata in September, says a release.
