WISH LIST: A memorandum is being submitted to the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil at Puttaparthi on Tuesday.
ANANTAPUR: Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil visited Puttaparthi in the district on Tuesday. He arrived at Prashanti Nilayam in the early hours and left for Bangalore in the forenoon. He had special darshan of Satya Saibaba for about two hours. On his arrival, he was welcomed by Rayalaseema Zone IG N. Sambasiva Rao, Anantapur Range DIG N. Jayarami Reddy, Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain and Chairman of the Sri Satya Sai Urban Development Authority, K. Satyanarayana, among others. In a memorandum submitted to the Home Minister, the SUDA Chairman urged the Centre to set up an APSP battalion and intelligence office in Puttaparthi.
