Corps of Military Police celebrates 66th Raising Day

A MILESTONE: Brig. R. Enayathulla, Commandant of the CMP Centre and School, addressing a special `Sainik Sammelan' on the occasion of the 66th Raising Day of the Corps of Military Police.

BANGALORE: The Corps of Military Police on Tuesday celebrated its 66th Raising Day here. A function was held at the War Memorial to pay homage to war heroes.

Brig. R. Enayathulla, Commandant of the CMP Centre and School, senior officers, junior commissioned officers (JCOs) , and others placed wreaths at the memorial.

Sainik Sammelan

Later, a special Sainik Sammelan was held. Senior officers of the Corps, JCOs, and a large number of officers of other ranks were present. A display of skills on motorcycles was presented by the renowned team, "Shwet Ashwas".

At the passing out parade, 65 recruits took the oath and were inducted into the Military Police.
