Cycle rally to mark MEG anniversary

KOZHIKODE: As part of the 225th anniversary of the Madras Engineer Group (MEG) of the Army, a cycle rally will be held in Kozhikode on Saturday. The rally team will camp in the city for three days. Members will visit houses of ex-servicemen and serving soldiers, according to an official release here on Monday.

Besides, the team will receive complaints from ex-servicemen, widows of soldiers and dependants attached to the Sanik Welfare Office of the Madras Engineer Group and also take steps to solve their problems. The District Sanik Welfare Officer has requested that ex-servicemen, widows of soldiers and dependents make use of the opportunity. Contact phone number 236 1881 for details.
