NEW DELHI: The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) will send a team to Mau in Uttar Pradesh for an on-the-spot enquiry into the communal violence that took place in the town over the weekend. The NCM vice-chairman, M.S. Usmani, will lead the three-member team. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Commission here on Tuesday. The team will meet senior officials of the State Government and representatives of all communities during their visit.
