Is this the best alternative?

WHEN THINGS come to a dead end, people come out with alternatives. The controversy over a building construction next to Mount Carmel College has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. A college girl was killed in an accident involving a truck carrying building material and there were protests by students.

Now the building developer has come out with a proposal, which may even be workable. An underpass between the main road and the building complex which is to house 350 apartments.

The proposal has gone to the Bangalore Mahanagar Pallike for approval and may make the road safer for the students, if the plans do take shape.
