GUNTUR: To commemorate the 60th foundation day of the United Nations Organisation, (UNO) the Guntur district unit of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV), in association with the City Children's Club, is organising various competitions for schoolchildren on Sunday. According to JVV general secretary K.S. Lakshmana Rao, the competitions will be held at Patibandla Seetharamaiah High School at Lakshmipuram Main Road in Guntur on Sunday from 10 a.m. The topics are for painting are-World Peace; elocution-Need for permanent citizenship of India in the UN; Essay-writing-Role of India in world peace and Quiz-topics relevant to UNO.
