Farmers to hold grievances meeting

The farmers' grievances meeting for October will be held at the District Collectorate on October 21 at 10 a.m. under the chairmanship of the Collector, S. Kosalaraman, a release from the Collectorate said.

Neo Fusion '05

Shri Nehru Vidyalaya is organising a inter-school competition "Neo Fusion 2005" for the 11th year in succession. This year, it will be conducted on October 21 at the Vidyalaya at R.S. BSNL festival offer

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Coimbatore, has announced that India Telephone Cards (ITC) of lower denominations will be offered as gift to customers who purchased cards of higher denomination, a release from the Principal General Manager, BSNL, Coimbatore, has said. Customers who purchased ITCs of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 5,000 denominations during the festival period up to November 4, will get free cards of Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 respectively.

Hindi musical programme

The Vasantha Memorial Trust will organise `Ritu Vasanth,' a Hindi musical programme on October 22. Ajit Parab, Hrishikesh Kamerkar, Sonali Karnik and Shilpa Pai will perform. It will be held at the CIT Auditorium, Peelamedu.
