BANGALORE:
Three cars were damaged when a three-storey building collapsed on Monday night in Seshadripuram police station limits.
However, there were no casualties.
Police said nobody was residing in the six-decade-old Jeeja Mahal situated at Kumara Park West due to some litigation. There was one shop on the ground floor.
Woman electrocuted
A woman died on the spot when she came in contact with a live wire in J.J. Nagar police station limits on Monday.
Police gave the name of the deceased as Karumayiyamma (50). The victim was on the way to her daughter's house near Janata Colony. Police have registered a case on the complaint by victim's daughter Selvi.
Youth killed
A 19-year-old youth was killed on the spot when a wall of his house collapsed on him following heavy rains on Monday night in Tilaknagar police station limits.
Police gave the name of the deceased as Gundappa, resident of a slum near Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
Mobile phone snatched
A motorcyclist snatched a mobile phone and the key of a motorcycle from another motorcyclist at Charajpet 6th cross in K.G. Nagar Police Station limits on Tuesday.
