Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The windscreens of a police van were smashed when a DYFI march to the office of the Circle Inspector (CI), Nedumangad, turned violent on Tuesday morning.

The police have registered a case of public property destruction against 200 DYFI workers "identifiable by sight" in connection with the incident. The DYFI had conducted marches to nine CI offices in the rural district to protest against the police policy of the UDF Government.
