For Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan, it was just another day.

Or so he said, when mediapersons asked him how he felt on his 82nd birthday as he left after the release of a special edition of Naitika Samvadam on jurist P. Subramanian Potty in Kochi city on Thursday.

When probed further on how he feels, Achuthanandan replied that so much had happened during his life, making it impossible to recap it in a few words.

V.R. Krishna Iyer, former Supreme Court judge, who delivered the commemorative lecture, presented a bouquet to Mr. Achuthanandan.
