Desert Lightning works well

Pune: Desert Lightning pleased when the horses were exercised here on Thursday (Oct. 20).

Inner sand

600m: A bay filly (Diffident-Pure Spice) (Rupesh), a bay colt (Diffident-Shocking) (R. Pandey) 37.5. They are 2-y-olds and moved freely. A chestnut colt (Greensmith-Armetta) (Kapoor), a chestnut colt (Major Impact-Double Quick) (R. Pandey) 40. Both are two-year-olds and ended level.

800m: A bay colt (Local Talent-Fiddlin Fanny) (rb), Techno Digital (rb) 55, 600/41. Former is a 2-y-o and they were easy. Security (rb) 57.5 600/42. Easy.

1,200m: Desert Lightning (Belose), Sizzler (Hamir) 1-19.5, 600/38.5. Former started four lengths behind and finished level with plenty on hand. Note the former.

Outer sand

600m: Colour Of Joy (rb) 38. Moved well.

800m: Divine Proportion (rb), The Nonesuch (rb) 53, 600/38. They were urged. Imogene (rb) 55, 600/41. Moved freely.

Gate practice — inner sand

1,000m: Khubsoorat (Kharadi) 1-9, 600/41. Moved freely. Habibi (Pradeep) 1-3, 600/37. Good.
